Across the world, developers are rushing to change the branding of their memecoins in the wake of the Chinese meta that has emerged over the past week.
Use of the color red in memecoin logos is reportedly up 37,000%, according to analytics firm snailalysis.
"I've always felt a deep personal connection to the people of China," a $RON developer told reporters.
"I'm glad crypto has finally caught up with us, so we can be the Chinese token we were always meant to be," he continued.
Some community members are concerned with the shift in branding for the President Ron DeSantis project, worried about what will happen when the meta inevitably shifts again next week.
Google Translate has reportedly seen a 550% increase in English to Chinese translations over the past week with many projects setting up Chinese pages for their website.
Only the Chinese know if any of these pages make any sense.
