Gary Gensler Forcibly Removed From Local Denny's After Refusing To Clarify Lunch Order
Witnesses claim Gensler repeatedly told staff, "If you can hear my stomach growling, then my order is obvious."
Today, at approximately 3:15 pm in Washington, D.C., Gary Gensler was forcibly removed from a local Denny's by the police.
The commotion began when a waitress asked Mr. Gensler what he would like to eat. "If you can hear my stomach growling, then my order is obvious," Gensler said.
The waitress informed Mr. Gensler that she had no idea what his order was. After hearing this, he became irate and repeatedly shouted, "My order is obvious, my order is obvious!"
After several minutes of back and forth, Mr. Gensler's anger escalated to the point where the staff was forced to call local law enforcement for assistance.
Witnesses told reporters that it took four officers to subdue him, with one officer remarking that he had the strength of ten Goldman Sachs executives.
"You're all hucksters, fraudsters, and scam artists!" Mr. Gensler could be heard shouting as he was escorted out of the Denny's.
The local police released Mr. Gensler without charge before they were legally required to give him a meal while in custody.
